The problem
Crypto investing has immense potential, but its technical complexity keeps most people out. Traditional finance, meanwhile, alienates a younger, tech-savvy generation that distrusts old institutions and wants new ways to grow its money.
Cubed is for Gen Z, 18 to 35: people who value simplicity and growth, have money to spare, and want it to work for them without having to become experts.
Research
For people after long-term growth, protection from inflation or a more diverse portfolio, existing platforms felt overwhelming, opaque or detached from their goals. The challenge: the empowerment of crypto with the ease and trust of a modern finance app.
A signed NDA keeps most of the project private; this is a glimpse of the early UX research that shaped Cubed.

The app
Get started in minutes. Grow for years.
Cubed moved from desktop to a mobile‑first platform, where Gen Z already lives. As lead designer I redefined the experience and prototyped it end to end: from signing up to a first scheduled deposit.
The idea builds on Moneda, the Evmos product that set the stage for its evolution.
The identity
An edgy, digital and playful brand that puts people at the centre, drawing on the neo-brutalism the crypto community loves.
Bold type, vibrant contrast, unconventional layouts, made for a generation at home in digital innovation.
The boldness is balanced with functional clarity, so investing feels approachable and credible to someone doing it for the first time.
The project wasn't carried forward; it stands as a proof of concept, from user needs to a brand and an experience built around them.
